Steal someone's Pattern for your picture or DESIGN

Have you ever seen a pattern in someones website and wished you could put that pattern in your sig or design? Well with this easy process you can make any background yours.

1. Begin by finding a background pattern you like.

You can even use my background pattern on my site. If you are using Internet Explorer you will have a harder time of getting the background image... so just to make it easier on yourself get Mozilla Firefox. With Firefox you don't even need to save the image file; you can just hit copy image and it will save it to the clipboard. Get Mozilla Firefox IT is the best browser in the world.

2. Copy the background img or save the file.

Either one works.

3. Open Photoshop and either paste the copied image, or open the file

Just make sure that you have the background image in a canvas that is the same size as the image, with NO extra space

4. Define the Pattern

Now that you have the pattern image into photoshop, go upto "Edit" and "Define Pattern"
At this point the Pattern image is now in your palette of patterns.

USE YOUR NEW PATTERN PROFUSELY

Now that your new pattern is in your palette you can use it on anything. If you want to test your abilities start a new image 500px X 500px, use the fill tool (press G) and instead of color (in the choices at the top) pick "pattern"

In the pattern display next to the options pick your new pattern, and FILL AWAY!!!!
